Iran threatens to target US, Israeli universities after Tehran university attack

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have threatened to target Israeli and American universities in the Middle East after the attack on Tehran’s University of Science and Technology.

The IRGC says all universities in the region are considered legitimate targets until two of its universities are targeted in response to the attack on Iranian universities.

“We advise all staff, faculty, and students of American universities in the region, as well as residents in their vicinity, to maintain a distance of one kilometer from these universities to ensure their safety,” the statement said.

The statement added that the United States should condemn the bombing of Iranian universities to avoid reprisals against American institutions in the region, with a deadline of 12 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 30.
