US President Donald Trump says that the US will “withdraw” from Iran in the next “two to three weeks”.
Speaking in the Oval Office on Tuesday, he said he had only one ‘goal’ – to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, which the US president says he has.
“Our work is almost done,” President Trump added, “maybe within two weeks, or maybe two or four days more.”
“We want to destroy every single one of them – but it’s possible we’ll make a deal before then.”
In response to a journalist’s question in the Oval Office, Trump said, “It is not necessary for Iran to make an agreement.”
He said the US would withdraw from Iran when it was convinced the Iranian regime could not build nuclear weapons “for years”.
“They can’t have nuclear weapons.”
He says that the US withdrawal from Iran has nothing to do with the deal with Tehran.
The US President says that everything in Iran has been destroyed as a result of the bombing and that they no longer have anti-aircraft guns to defend themselves.
He claimed that the Iranians “cannot fight anymore”. They are not even firing at us now.” According to him, this may be because ‘their war equipment is completely destroyed’ and ‘they have nothing to fire at.’
President Trump claims that Iran no longer has a navy or an army.
They are losing. They admit they are losing. They are begging for a deal.
