The Iranian military claims to have recruited seven million Iranians who have volunteered to fight.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says that seven million Iranians have volunteered for military service since the start of the war with Israel and the United States.
According to him, as a result of a “powerful national campaign,” millions of Iranians have declared that they are “ready to take up arms and defend their homeland.”
“We have done this before and we are ready to do it again. If you attack our house, the whole family will fight you,” Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said.
