Armed men ambushed and attacked Pakistan Coast Guards team personnel in the coastal area of Gwadar district of Balochistan.
Two personnel were killed in the attack.
According to officials, the incident took place on Friday evening near the maritime border, where the personnel were on routine patrol.
According to local sources, the attack took place near “Machin Kapar” in the coastal area of Kantani in Geywani.
Eyewitnesses say that the attackers approached and opened indiscriminate fire on the personnel. As a result of the firing, two personnel were killed on the spot.
Regional sources say that the attackers fled immediately after the operation.
Sources say that the attackers allegedly took away the weapons and other equipment of the personnel.
