5 trucks loaded with coal set on fire in Balochistan, 3 people including SHO arrested

The actions of Baloch independence organizations against the looting of nationally owned mineral resources have intensified in Balochistan.

According to reports, armed men set on fire 5 trucks loaded with coal in Harnai and arrested 3 people including the SHO.

The incident took place on Mangi Road near Shahrag area of ​​Harnai, where armed men set fire to at least five trucks carrying minerals and a vehicle carrying road construction machinery after taking over.

Authorities have confirmed the incident.

According to SP Ziarat Talal Shah, five trucks loaded with coal were set on fire by unknown armed men who were going from Harnai to Punjab via Ziarat.

He said that several trucks had been burned in the Mangi area several times before.

On the other hand, Balochistan Food Minister Noor Muhammad Damar condemned the incident of setting fire to coal-laden vehicles and said that security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation in the area against the elements involved in the incident.

According to him, five coal-laden trucks have been set on fire by armed men in the Mangi area of ​​the Ziarat National Highway in Harnai-Quetta and there are also reports of kidnapping of three people including the SHO Mangi.

It should be remembered that after successive heavy operations by Baloch independence organizations against the looting of mineral resources in Balochistan, the government had decided to establish a special security corridor and deploy FC in Rakhshan Division to protect mineral resources.
