Israeli airstrikes kill 31 in Lebanon

The Lebanese Health Ministry announced that 31 people, including two children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Tuesday.

Despite the ceasefire, Israel has stepped up its attacks on Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had ordered the Israeli army to increase military operations in Lebanon to “crush” Hezbollah.

The Israeli army said a missile was fired from Lebanon on Wednesday morning that entered Israel and fell in an open area. No casualties were reported.

The Israeli army said it had hit more than 100 Hezbollah targets, while it ordered residents of large areas of southern Lebanon to leave the area. Meanwhile, there are reports that Israeli troops are moving beyond areas in Lebanon where they were deployed after a ceasefire agreement last month.
