Major armed attacks in Balochistan, several security personnel including a session judge killed and injured, post destroyed

Serious reports of attacks on security forces, judiciary figures and government installations have emerged in different districts of Balochistan. In these violent incidents, several military personnel, a session judge and his gunman have been killed, while several people have been seriously injured and a police post building has been completely destroyed.

Reports of a major attack targeting the army have emerged from Nushki district this morning. According to initial reports, several personnel have been killed and several others have been injured in the incident.

The three personnel killed in the attack have so far been identified as Lance Naik Noman, Sepoy Aqib Nawaz, and Sepoy Sabdar. Sources say that several other personnel have also been injured, three of whom are said to be in critical condition. More details about the incident and an official statement from the authorities are awaited.

On the other hand, unidentified armed men opened fire on Karachi-Quetta Highway in Mastung district, killing Sessions Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar and his gunman, while Additional Sessions Judge Tariq Lashari and two others were injured.

According to Deputy Commissioner Mastung Bahram Saleem, Sessions Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar, who belonged to Toba Kakar, was on his way to Mastung from Quetta when unknown assailants targeted his vehicle on the way. As a result of the firing, the Sessions Judge and his gunman died on the spot, while Additional Sessions Judge Tariq Lashari and two others were seriously injured.

According to the Station House Officer (SHO), a Judicial Magistrate and another person were seriously injured in the attack. The Deputy Commissioner said that the dead and injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, but the motive behind the incident is yet to be known. The police have launched an investigation into the incident, while efforts are underway to trace the attackers.

In a continuation of attacks on security installations, unidentified assailants attacked a police post in the Sughra area of ​​Sanjawi Tehsil of Ziarat district. The attack resulted in severe damage to the post and the building was completely destroyed.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident. According to sources, no police personnel were present at the police post at the time of the attack, due to which no police personnel were injured or killed. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
