Incidents of blockades, setting fire to vehicles and firing by armed men have been reported on important commercial highways in Chagai and Noshki areas of Balochistan.
Armed men set fire to a commercial vehicle on the Quetta-Taftan commercial highway near Padag Charsar area of ​​Chagai district while taking custody of two other trucks carrying goods.
According to reports, the incident took place when the driver of the vehicle tried to escape from the armed men, on which the attackers set fire to the vehicle.
On the other hand, armed men blocked the Noshki-Kharan main highway in Zarin Jangal area of ​​Noshki district.
As a result of firing during the blockade, the tires of two commercial vehicles were severely damaged.
Due to these incidents, commercial traffic on both the important highways was suspended and panic spread in the area. However, no armed organization has yet claimed responsibility for these incidents.
