According to verified data released by the Baloch Solidarity Committee (BYC), on August 19, 2026 at 4:00 am, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Frontier Corps (FC) raided a house in Gashgoori Town area of ​​Quetta and detained and forcibly disappeared 4 members of the same family.
Details of the forcibly disappeared persons:
Umira bint Abdul Rasool: Age 27 years, profession housewife, resident of Kabo (Mastung).
Najma bint Abdul Rasool: Age 28 years, Housewife, Resident of Kabu (Mastong).
Parisa bint Man Dost: Age 8 years (Montessori student), Resident of Kabu (Mastong).
Zakir son of Abdul Haq: Age only two and a half (1.5) years (infant), Resident of Kabu (Mastong).
This incident of enforced disappearance of minors and infants by the Pakistani army in Balochistan is a serious violation of human rights and a continuation of unconstitutional actions by the security agencies.
By disregarding the United Nations and international human rights laws, the policy of enforced disappearance of minors and infants is now being normalized, which directly falls under the category of war crimes under international law.
According to human rights organizations and the Baloch Solidarity Committee, the abduction of women, including a one-and-a-half-year-old infant and an 8-year-old girl, from their homes in the early hours of the morning is evidence that state institutions are flouting basic constitutional safeguards and international humanitarian law.
The committee has called on the international community and international human rights organizations to take immediate notice of the enforced disappearances of women and innocent children in Balochistan and ensure their immediate recovery.
