Attack on Pakistani Forces in Balochistan; Bodies Abandoned in the Desert During Retreat

A convoy of the Pakistan Army was targeted in a lethal attack near the Balochistan-Afghanistan border (Durand Line) in the Nok Kundi area of Chagai district, resulting in the immediate deaths of several personnel.

According to the latest reports from border sources, the attack was so intense and unexpected that it caused panic and disarray among the security personnel.

Immediately following the attack, other personnel fled the scene in a state of panic to save their lives.

Sources indicate that while the forces managed to retrieve the bodies of 13 personnel during their retreat, they left the bodies of two deceased personnel behind in the desert due to fear and haste.

Local civil administration and rescue services were notified and instructed to dispatch ambulances to recover the bodies lying in the open desert.

However, ambulance crews and local drivers have flatly refused to travel to the site, citing the intense fear of militants in the area and the volatile security situation at the border. According to the latest reports, the bodies of the two deceased personnel remain abandoned in the scorching desert heat.

Attacks by Baloch pro-independence militants have intensified significantly in the border areas of Nok Kundi and Chagai in recent days. This incident has once again highlighted the severe psychological stress and disarray affecting frontline forces, who are being compelled to retreat while leaving the bodies of their fallen comrades behind on the battlefield.
