US and Iranian leaders held a very good and productive three-hour discussion: Trump

US President Donald Trump stated that a three-hour-long discussion took place on Tuesday between US and Iranian leaders, a meeting that also included Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Speaking to reporters in New York, the US President said, “It was a very good and highly productive meeting.” However, President Trump did not disclose which Iranian leaders were present in the room.

It is worth noting that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is currently in New York, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is also attending the United Nations General Assembly session.

Steve Witkoff, who participated in the meeting, remarked, “He is feeling very good right now,” but offered no further details.

President Trump later said, “Let’s see what comes of it.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump had stated that US special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner had met with mediators regarding a potential agreement to end the conflict with Iran.

The heads of the mediating nations are currently in New York to attend the UN General Assembly, which commenced today.

Pakistan and Qatar are two of the mediators involved in the discussions between Iran and the United States.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister visited Tehran yesterday, and Qatar has stated that its representatives are conveying messages between Iran and the United States.
