In a major security lapse in Balochistan—reflecting the growing influence and expanded reach of Baloch pro-independence groups into urban areas—two senior officials from MCB Bank’s Khuzdar region (Regional Head of Operations Haji Lashkar Khan Bangulzai and Regional Head of Sales Khalid Gichki) were abducted along with their driver. The incident occurred on October 2 near the Rodinjo area of Kalat while they were traveling from Khuzdar to Quetta; unidentified armed men intercepted and kidnapped them.
Although the driver was released the following day, both senior bank officials remain missing, causing deep concern among their families and local circles. This incident comes at a time when state authority is gradually weakening across the region.
According to reports, the two officers were traveling with their driver when unidentified individuals abducted them at Rodinjo.
No confirmed information regarding the two officers has surfaced so far, leading to anxiety among their families and concerned circles.
