A case number 109/26 under sections 365B/511 of the IPC was registered in Murree police station, Pakistan on the complaint of a citizen.
According to initial investigation, the accused Muhammad Zafir son of Munawar Khan, resident of Bagh Dhirkot Kashmir, allegedly kidnapped the girl and drove the car at high speed and recklessly, causing the car to overturn and despite the girl’s request to stop, he did not stop the car, which caused the girl to jump out of the moving car, as a result of which she was seriously injured and later died of her injuries.
Murree police station has taken immediate action and arrested the main accused Muhammad Zafir son of Munawar Khan, resident of Bagh Dhirkot Kashmir, while raids are being conducted at various places to arrest his accomplice.
According to SHO Murree Owais Akram, the investigation is ongoing as per merit and law and all aspects are being examined carefully.
SDPO Murree Zaman Ali said that Murree police is taking all possible steps to protect the lives and property of citizens and all those involved in the incident will be brought to justice. Citizens are appealed to obey traffic rules and ensure responsible driving.
DPO Murree Raza Tanveer said that no one is above the law and the protection of the lives and property of citizens is our top priority.
