After the Israeli and American aggression and the alleged assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, protests are continuing in various cities of Pakistan, as in various Islamic countries, during which reports of tension and clashes have emerged at some places.
According to the details, a large number of protesters shouted slogans while protesting against Israel and America. In Karachi, angry protesters protested near the American consulate, where some people tried to set the building on fire, after which the situation became tense. There are reports of six civilians being killed in alleged firing during clashes between security forces and protesters, however, the authorities have not officially confirmed the deaths.
On the other hand, protesters attacked the United Nations office in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, and damaged the building. According to the police, tear gas was also used to disperse the angry crowd, while several people were detained.
There were also reports of clashes between protesters and police in the federal capital, Islamabad. The protesters took out a rally and demanded that the government take a strong stand against Israel and the United States.
Similarly, a large number of citizens took to the streets in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The protesters shouted strong slogans against the United States and Israel and demanded that Pakistan immediately close the American diplomatic mission and recall its diplomats.
Officials say that security has been put on high alert in various cities of the country while the situation is being monitored. The government has appealed to citizens to protest peacefully and has urged them not to take the law into their own hands.
