Gilgit / Kashgil News
Law enforcement agencies in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad have arrested 6 more youths from Gilgit-Baltistan.
The arrested persons have been shifted to Adiala Jail for 14 days for the purpose of identity parade.
On the other hand, 7 students from Gilgit-Baltistan, who were already arrested in the same case, were presented in court, where the court ordered them to be sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
According to sources, the scope of arrests in this case has expanded in recent days and operations are underway at various places.
It should be noted that these arrests are being made in the context of the protests that took place after the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, after which the authorities detained several people.
According to the authorities, the investigation of the arrested persons is ongoing, while further developments will be revealed at the next hearing in the court.
