Afghanistan accuses Pakistan of airstrikes, claims civilian deaths

The Afghan Taliban government has accused Pakistan of once again carrying out airstrikes in different areas of Afghanistan on Thursday, in which civilians were targeted.

The Taliban government’s central spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a statement issued on the social media platform X that the Pakistani army had bombed Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika and some other areas.

According to him, in some places, civilian houses were destroyed, resulting in the death of women and children, while in some places, empty places were targeted where no one was present.

Zabihullah Mujahid said that during the airstrikes, the fuel depot of the private airline Kam Air near Kandahar Airport was also targeted.

The Taliban spokesman called the attacks aggression and said that it had harmed civilians. However, no official position was immediately issued by the Pakistani authorities in this regard.
