Rundu District: Demand for release of AAC leaders at Quds Day rally

A demand was made for the release of Awami Action Committee leaders at a Quds Day rally in Rundu District of Gilgit-Baltistan under Pakistan administration.

The main rally of Awami Action Committee was taken out from Jamia Masjid Thowar Rundu on the occasion of Jumma-ul-Wida.

On this occasion, Awami Action Committee Rundu raised banners in support of its arrested leaders.

The participants also presented a unanimous resolution demanding the immediate release of other prisoners, including the Chairman of Awami Action Committee.

The speakers condemned the government’s registration of cases against Awami Action Committee leaders under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) and demanded the withdrawal of these provisions and the immediate release of all prisoners.

Addressing the rally, Allama Ghulam Abbas also demanded the release of Awami Action Committee prisoners and criticized the government’s actions.

Finally, Awami Action Committee Rundu thanked all the participants who participated in the Quds Rally.
