Reports from southern Lebanon say Israeli airstrikes have hit more targets not directly linked to Hezbollah.
The Lebanese Health Ministry says at least 12 medical staff, including doctors and nurses, were killed in the town of Burj Qalawiyya when the town’s primary health care center was hit.
Israel has also bombed other civilian infrastructure, including roads and bridges. Israel has almost doubled the size of the evacuation zone in the south and advised millions more to move north.
Tensions are rising in Lebanon, with neither Israel nor Hezbollah showing any sign of backing down, raising fears that the conflict will drag on.
