Pashtun Tahafuz Movement leader and former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Ali Wazir has been released from jail after one and a half years.
He was released after being granted bail in all cases by the Sindh High Court.
Ali Wazir was arrested in August 2024. Various cases were registered against him while he was also detained under three MPO (3MPO) orders. During this time, he was kept in various jails in Punjab, Sindh, Islamabad and Balochistan for a long time.
Following the court orders, the Sukkur jail administration released him after the completion of legal proceedings.
Ali Wazir’s release is being expressed by his supporters and workers.
