Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch, the head of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), an armed organization active for the liberation of Balochistan, has said in his latest statement that no one is above the freedom movement. If the Punjabi army can kill 20 Baloch in a city like Panjgur, then the international community and human rights organizations have no moral authority to question the entry of Baloch freedom fighters into Punjab. The actions of the Fitna-ul-Araj army have forced the freedom fighters to take this step.
He expressed these views on the social media platform “Truth Social”.
The Baloch leader said that we are sacrificing our lives for our culture, identity and homeland. It is our legitimate right to defend our lost freedom. Despite this, the international community and Punjabi intellectuals kept their lips sealed when they talked about the Baloch genocide.
He said that we are closely watching how international organizations continue their policies in collaboration with their ally Pakistani military establishment. So far, we have limited our struggle to Balochistan, but if the theater of war shifts to the heart of Punjab, there will be no option left.
This is the first time that a major Baloch independence leader has clearly stated that the independence movement can spread to other provinces of Pakistan. Earlier, the Baloch resistance was mostly limited to Balochistan. About a decade ago, there were limited operations in Karachi, for which responsibility was not clearly accepted at the beginning.
Later, regular operations began in Karachi. In recent years, some attacks have also reached Punjab, but there has been no such announcement at the leadership level.
This statement by Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch is being considered important in this context as it indicates a possible expansion of the geographical scope of the Baloch movement, which may give rise to a new debate for the internal security of Pakistan.
