Russia has carried out its biggest airstrikes since the start of its war with Ukraine in the past 24 hours, with 948 drones targeting several Ukrainian cities.
According to Ukraine’s air force, 556 drones were shot down since 9 a.m. local time on Tuesday, the most unusual daytime attack, killing at least three people and injuring dozens.
The 16th-century Bernardine monastery in the western city of Lviv, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the city center, was damaged, according to local authorities.
According to the Ukrainian administration, 392 drones and 34 missiles were launched in the night after two.
However, there has been no reaction from the Russian army or the administration regarding these claims of Yorks.
