According to local media, unidentified armed men opened fire on vehicles carrying minerals on the Guash Road in Kharan, damaging the vehicles.

According to regional sources, the incident took place on the Guash CPEC Link Road in the Kharan area, where a large number of armed men had set up a road blockade and snap checking of vehicles was being done.

Eyewitnesses say that at this time, the trucks carrying minerals tried to leave the checkpoint, on which the armed men targeted them, damaging several vehicles, but no casualties were reported.

On the other hand, unidentified armed men snatched official weapons from police personnel posted on duty at Civil Hospital Chowk in Mastung and fled the scene.

Sources say that armed motorcycle-riding men suddenly arrived at the scene and took two police personnel hostage at gunpoint.

The armed men snatched official weapons from the officers, while the police officers did not offer any resistance.

After the incident, the armed men fired in the air and left easily.

On receiving information, a police team reached the scene and cordoned off the area and started searching for them.
