Citizens are leaving their homes and migrating to safer places after Israeli attacks on various areas of southern Lebanon on Saturday.
At least 11 people were killed and several others were injured in these attacks by the Israeli army.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, seven people, including three children, were killed in an attack on the village of Ansar, while another attack on Deir al-Zahrani killed four people and injured 17.
Photos posted on social media and local media reports show heavy traffic on the roads of southern Lebanon, where dozens of families are displaced from the Nabatieh area.
The Israeli military said the strikes were in response to Hezbollah’s attacks on Israeli soldiers, in which three soldiers were seriously injured.
Israeli officials also claimed that a commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force was also killed during the attack on Ansar.
The attacks are among the bloodiest since the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah began in June.
The Israeli military also claimed to have killed Abu Hassan Alaa, a senior commander of Hezbollah’s Badr unit.
The Israeli military said in a statement on X that the Hezbollah commander was killed in response to the organization’s attacks against Israeli forces in the security zone.
According to a statement issued by the Israeli military, Hassan Alaa planned and participated in the execution of several attacks against Israeli forces in the security zone, including attacks using explosive-laden drones on Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon.
