According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the Israeli war—which began on October 7, 2023—has resulted in the deaths of 74,494 Palestinians, while 175,604 others have been injured.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported that over the past 24 hours, the bodies of seven people killed by Israeli fire, along with 24 injured individuals, were brought to hospitals across the Gaza Strip.
Citing the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the Ministry stated that the total death toll since the ceasefire in October 2025 has reached 1,534, with 5,486 people injured during this period.
The Ministry of Health noted that the bodies of many victims remain trapped under rubble or lie on the streets—areas inaccessible to ambulances and rescue teams, which are already operating under extreme strain.
According to the Ministry, the humanitarian crisis has intensified as a result of the Israeli war. Homes and infrastructure have suffered widespread destruction, and the system for providing essential services has been paralyzed.
The Ministry stated that despite guarantees in the ceasefire agreement for the unhindered delivery of aid, the Israeli military’s continued restrictions on the entry of relief supplies and materials necessary for reconstruction have further exacerbated the situation.
