The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), an armed organization active for the liberation of Balochistan, has released a new video of Pakistani army personnel in its custody, in which the detained army personnel are seen presenting their official service cards and identity cards in front of the camera.
The personnel in the video have taken the position that they were regularly recruited, issued official identity documents and posted at various places, however, according to them, the relevant agency is now refusing to recognize them as their own.
In the video, an official is emotionally and spiritually saying that this video is real and he is regularly serving in the Pakistani army, please take steps for his release.
The BLA had earlier announced a seven-day deadline for the exchange of prisoners of war. According to the organization, only three days are left in this deadline.
However, there was no official response from a government or military spokesperson in this regard.
