The bail has been restored in the fourth case filed against journalist Sohrab Barkat in the Islamabad High Court of Pakistan, after which the court has ordered his immediate release.
During the hearing in the court, Justice Arbab Tahir, while granting the bail application, remarked that there is apparently no other pending case against the accused, so there should be no delay in his release if the legal requirements are met.
Barrister Saad Rasool appeared on behalf of Sohrab Barkat during the hearing.
