In Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Mujtaba Farooq, a core member of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), has been offloaded and detained while traveling abroad.
According to sources, Mujtaba Farooq was at the airport to leave for abroad when FIA officials stopped him from boarding the plane and later detained him.
However, the reasons for his offloading and detention have not yet been revealed.
On the other hand, the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), expressing concern over the situation, has called an emergency online meeting at 3:30 pm today, in which the future course of action will be considered.
It should be remembered that even before this, citizens traveling abroad from Pakistan-administered Kashmir have faced severe difficulties and obstacles on various occasions, which is causing concern in urban circles.
Citizens and social circles say that clear reasons and legal status of such incidents should be brought to light so that public anxiety can be alleviated.
