A new development has come to light regarding political and social activities in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, where the National Cyber \u200b\u200bCrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered a case against Shaukat Nawaz Mir, a core member of the Public Action Committee, on charges of anti-state speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to sources, the case was registered under cyber crime laws, however, the complete details of the FIR have not been made public yet, which is being questioned by various quarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, a statement issued by Shaukat Nawaz Mir, a core member of the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee, on his Facebook account, expressed strong reservations about this move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement claimed that a social media platform \u201cKashmir Digital\u201d always presented a speech against the Action Committee and public rights and this news was also broadcast in this context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement demanded that the government and relevant institutions make the full text of the FIR public so that the facts can be clarified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Action Committee, they have always spoken about public rights within the ambit of the Constitution, law and the United Nations Human Rights Charter, and the use of social media is in no way a crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was further said that if the authorities do not provide an immediate and satisfactory explanation, the move will be called a statewide provocation and the underlying factors will be exposed through a press conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
