The International Energy Agency (IAEA) has warned that an attack near any nuclear facility in Iran could pose serious risks to the region. The warning comes after reports of an alleged attack near the Bushehr nuclear power plant in southwestern Iran were received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
IAEA Director General Rafael Grassi said that Bushehr is an active nuclear plant with a large amount of nuclear material, and in the event of any damage, the effects of radiation could spread to a wide area outside Iran. He appealed to all parties to show \u201cmaximum restraint\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Israel has claimed that it has targeted air defense systems, missile installations and weapons production centers in various parts of Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Israeli military, ballistic missile and other weapons production centers in Tehran were targeted. Missile launchers and storage facilities were attacked in western Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuwait has launched an investigation into the attack, while security alert has been raised in Gulf countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
