According to a report by the PDMA Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), a child has been confirmed dead due to lightning in Dhadar area of \u200b\u200bKachhi district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A crack in the embankment of the Nari River in Bala Nari tehsil caused widespread destruction, where more than 100 houses were destroyed, about 400 acres of agricultural land was submerged and more than 50 livestock were killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A roof collapse occurred in Harnai, but no casualties were reported. However, due to continuous rains, the highways from Harnai to Sanjawi and from Harnai to Quetta have been closed for traffic, and several internal communication roads have also been affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The report states that intermittent moderate to heavy rains in Harnai and Chaman have led to flash flooding in rivers and canals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Severe flooding was observed in Qila Abdullah district due to heavy rains, especially in Qila Abdullah Bazar, Habibzai, Abdul Rahmanzai, Gulistan, Arambi and Toba Achakzai, where dangerous increases in water levels were recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
High levels of flood continued to flow in Machka, Arambi, Bagak and Gulistan Karez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rescue operations were carried out by PDMA machinery under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner and District Police Officer in Qila Abdullah, where a mini coach carrying 15 people, including women and children, who were trapped in floodwaters near Gulistan was safely pulled out, while two more vehicles were also rescued from the Machka River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the PDMA, immediate relief supplies were provided to the affected family in Harnai, while heavy machinery has been deployed to repair the embankment of the Nari River in Kachhi and the process of assessing the damage is underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Relief Commissioner and DG PDMA Jahanzeb Khan Ghauri, the Provincial Emergency Operations Center is fully functional and relief operations are being monitored in coordination with all district disaster management authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
