UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the large-scale Israeli attacks across Lebanon on April 8 and called on all parties to immediately cease hostilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the attacks had \u2018killed and injured hundreds of civilians, including children, and damaged civilian infrastructure.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He expressed concern at the increasing civilian casualties in the attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Antonio Guterres warned that military activities in Lebanon \u2018could pose a serious threat to the ceasefire and efforts for a lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
