Although the celebration of Hill Language Day started on April 14, 2024 at the social level, this year for the first time the government officially recognized it and organized events at the official level. This development is being described as an important milestone for the promotion of local languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writers, poets, students and social figures participated in the events held in the capital Muzaffarabad and other cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speeches, folk songs and cultural demonstrations, literary sessions were organized in the Hill language at these events, which aimed to connect the new generation with their mother tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to experts, the Pahari language is spoken in vast areas of western Jammu where a large number of hill tribes live. This language is not only a means of communication but also a reflection of local history, traditions and civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
