Mohsin Rezaei, a member of Iran\u2019s Expediency Discernment Council and former commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guards, said in an interview with news agencies inside Iran that \u2018the Americans are afraid of continuous war, while we are fully prepared for a long war and have extensive experience in it.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the interview, he referred to statements by US President Donald Trump and US Secretary of Defense Pat Hegist and said, \u2018If the Iranian navy has been destroyed, then why doesn\u2019t the US dare to pass through the Strait of Hormuz?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
