He added that \u201cafter suffering heavy losses, the opposing side came to its senses and requested a ceasefire. When this request came, we stopped the operations. We retreated but we did not show weakness.\u201d We had given our message and that message was clear that any aggression will be met with a befitting reply and terrorism will have to pay a price.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that \u2018Operation Sindoor is not over yet, it is just the beginning.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Quoting poet Dushyant Kumar, he recited this verse \u2018My aim is not just to create a ruckus, my effort is to change the situation.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indian military officials further said that \u2018If Operation Sindoor was a proof of balanced and measured resolve, then our next response will be one of continued superiority. If we are challenged again, we will not just respond but will shape the battlefield situation from the outer borders.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai claimed that \u2018It is a fact that Pakistan-China relations, in their own words, are deeper than the seas and higher than the mountains. Similarly, it is also clear that 80 percent of Pakistan\u2019s military equipment is Chinese-made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added, \u201cWhether we face three adversaries like Turkey, China or Pakistan on the same border, the reality is that we have to compete with the same team that is present on the field. So this is not something that we should be overly concerned about, nor is it within our control.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He expressed confidence that \u201cIndia and its armed forces are on the path to meet all these challenges.
