Despite the passage of two decades since the devastating 2005 earthquake in Haveli district of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, several government schools have yet to be rebuilt. The middle school in Bhedi Mughlan, a suburb of the district, is among the educational institutions where students are forced to study in dilapidated and dilapidated buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to local residents and parents, the school building could cause a major accident at any time, but no practical steps have been taken by the relevant authorities so far. Parents say that providing education at the risk of children\u2019s lives is a clear proof of the government\u2019s incompetence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be remembered that the current Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore was elected from this constituency. The Prime Minister claims to be a people\u2019s government and people\u2019s representation, but the dilapidated condition of educational institutions in his own constituency has become a question mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Public circles say that on one hand, the ruler proclaims himself as the people’s prime minister with protocol and convoys of hundreds of vehicles, while on the other hand, children are not provided with even basic and safe educational facilities. Citizens have demanded that all the affected schools in Haveli district be immediately reconstructed so that students can study in a safe environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
