After the deadlock in the talks between the governments of Pakistan and its administered Kashmir and the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) on May 30, the Pakistani Prime Minister\u2019s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, while talking to the media at the end of the talks, said that the Azad Kashmir government and the opposition party, Muslim League (N), have decided to convene an all-party conference regarding the situation and the demands of the Awami Action Committee, in which all stakeholders should be taken into confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this regard, we spoke to Shaukat Javed Mir, spokesperson for Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said:
\u201cTomorrow, on June 3, at 11 am, an all-party conference is being held at the Prime Minister\u2019s House in Muzaffarabad, hosted by Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and Leader of the Opposition Shah Ghulam Qadir, in which the heads of all political parties or their nominated representatives will participate, so that through consensus, recommendations can be formulated that are acceptable to all.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the Prime Minister\u2019s spokesperson was asked whether the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee (JAAC) has also been invited to this conference and whether nationalist parties will also participate in it, he said:
\u201cObviously, the Action Committee is a party in this matter. We want to take everyone along. This is a one-point agenda, so efforts are being made to take all the relevant circles into confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
