An Islamabad Police officer who refused to report to duty in Pakistan-administered Kashmir has been fired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A spokesperson for the Islamabad Police has also confirmed the firing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The order issued in this regard states that Constable Ahmed Ali was summoned for duty in Pakistan-administered Kashmir for the elections to be held next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The order states that despite being summoned to the police headquarters, Constable Ahmed Ali did not report for duty and refused to go to Pakistan-administered Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Islamabad Police SPO Owais Ali Khan, the constable has been fired for his unprofessional conduct and dereliction of duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that elections are scheduled in Pakistan-administered Kashmir next month, but the Joint Action Committee has already called for a protest there on June 9 and the situation there is tense.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
