A reward of Rs 10 million has been announced for those who help in the arrest of several leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee, which has been banned by the government in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a notification issued by the Home Department of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, a reward of Rs 10 million will be given to those who provide information about the central leaders of the Joint Action Committee, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, Omar Nazir Kashmiri, Sardar Aman and Khawaja Mehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The notification states that the identity of those who provide information that helps in the presence or arrest of the wanted persons will be kept confidential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Riaz Mughal told the BBC that the said members of the banned organization are currently in hiding and the police are searching for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him, anyone who provides information about the presence of these people will be rewarded as per the government announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, the business centers in Kashmir have been closed and traffic has been jammed for three days today due to the strike call given by the Joint Action Committee. Shutter-down strike was seen in markets in various cities while traffic on the roads was also less than usual. While the long march has also started, convoys have come out from different areas and are heading towards Muzaffarabad, but the long march participants are facing severe obstacles from the security forces and street firing is also going on on them, in which there are reports of several more people being killed and several injured.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
