During this movement, negotiations were held with the Government of Pakistan and the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir at various times, and the demands were accepted in principle. This is why this movement is not only a prominent and effective voice for public rights, but the people also see the JPAC as their spokesperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In such circumstances, declaring the JPAC illegal, issuing various notifications against its workers and including numerous individuals in the Fourth Schedule is a decision that has raised serious concerns among the people of the state. The main question being raised about this move is that when the declared aim of this movement was the struggle for public rights, the right to property and the right to rule, the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law and the protection of public rights, then why did this same movement have to face strict legal measures?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In any democratic society, differences of opinion, protests and public demands are resolved through constitutional and political means rather than state power. If action is taken against a movement, it must have a strong legal basis, transparent evidence and full scope for judicial review. Otherwise, such measures can increase distrust and political tension among the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supporters of the Joint Public Action Committee argue that this movement is not a movement of any specific political party but a representative movement for the basic economic and civil rights of ordinary citizens, which has organized the people by breaking away from traditional politics. According to them, strict measures against this movement are tantamount to crushing the public voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this situation, the appropriate way out is not further confrontation but a return to the constitution, law and negotiations. It should be noted that the government has recognized the Charter of Demands of the Joint Public Action Committee at various stages, so now it should be fully and honestly implemented so that the public confidence is restored and the problems are resolved sustainably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this time, the need is that all notifications issued against the Joint Public Action Committee should be withdrawn immediately, the measures related to nullification and the Fourth Schedule should be canceled and all matters should be resolved as per the agreed agreement. The government should implement its recognized Charter of Demand without delay and adopt the path of meaningful negotiations to resolve differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Public rights, supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law are not contradictory to each other but are the foundation of a strong and peaceful society. That is why it is important that differences of opinion should not be considered as hostility but as part of the democratic process and the public voice should be heard instead of being suppressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there is a state, there will be politics, and if there are people, the government will remain. This principle is a reminder that the real basis of power is public trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The people want their demands to be implemented, which have already been acknowledged in the agreements between the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of Pakistan and the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee. Therefore, it is important that these agreements are implemented seriously so that the crisis of confidence does not deepen further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also a general public perception that harsh administrative measures, decisions like restrictions and arrests can complicate problems rather than solving them. Therefore, it is important to move forward through dialogue instead of force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The solution to the problems of peaceful political and public movements always comes through negotiation and constitutional channels.
