Roadblocks, shutter-downs and protest sit-ins continued for the 21st day in Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir, while the continuous internet shutdown has completed 25 days. The morale and enthusiasm of the participants in the ongoing protest organized by the Joint Public Action Committee has not diminished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protest participants say that despite the alleged violence, arrests, beatings and harassment of families by the administration, security forces and government agencies, the people are not ready to back down from their demands and the sit-in will continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the supply of food and medicines on all entry routes from Pakistan is still suspended, due to which the fear of shortage of essential items has increased in various areas. Citizens and social circles have demanded immediate restoration of internet and ensuring the supply of essential commodities, saying that the current situation is continuously increasing public hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
