The Jammu Kashmir Community Canada held a protest demonstration against the illegal and unconstitutional arrest of Shaukat Nawaz Mir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The demonstration was attended by a large number of community members and human rights activists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The protesters demanded the immediate release of Shaukat Nawaz Mir and expressed deep anger and outrage over the actions of the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said that subjecting the Kashmiri people to political vendetta and harassment is a serious violation of fundamental human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the demonstration, the participants demanded the international community and relevant institutions to ensure full implementation of the United Nations Charter and international human rights principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The series of killings, illegal arrests, harassment and political vendetta against the Kashmiri people should be stopped immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other colonial tactics being carried out in the region should be immediately and permanently ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
