The US military\u2019s Central Command (CENTCOM) has said that approximately 140 military targets were hit in the third wave of attacks against Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement released on the social media website X, the US military said the new strikes were aimed at \u201cholding Iranian forces accountable after another attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to CENTCOM, \u201cUS forces targeted Iran with fighter jets, drones and ship-launched weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The US military said the targets targeted included Iranian missile and drone installations, naval capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, communications networks and coastal surveillance sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
