Polling has been completed in Mirpur division under the first phase of the 11th Legislative Assembly elections in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, however, according to initial reports, voter turnout was negligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, according to local journalist Danish Irshad, reports of heavy firing have been received from two different sides in Chandni Chowk\/Kasai Gali and Baldia Adda areas of Rawalakot city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to sources, the sounds of firing have been heard about six kilometers away from the city, due to which severe panic has spread in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So far, no official statement has been made at the government level regarding the reasons for the firing, loss of life or property and any possible arrests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This situation has come to light at a time when, on the one hand, the polling process has been completed in Mirpur division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the video footage received by Kashgal News, several polling stations were seen completely deserted where not a single voter turned up, while in one video, bullet papers were seen being thrown in the open field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
