Details and situation of deaths in Rawalakot and Mirpur<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aggression of Pakistani forces to stop the long march in Pakistan-administered Kashmir continued for the second day. During the two days, at least 34 civilians have been confirmed dead in Rawalakot and 2 in Mirpur due to firing, taking the total death toll to 36.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, it is being claimed in Mirpur that 6 people have lost their lives in firing. So far, 81 civilians have lost their lives as a result of the actions of the forces during this protest that continued from June 5 to July 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, the participants of the march tried to enter Rawalakot city from Baldia Adda, Khadak Road and D Chowk, but a heavy contingent of forces blocked their way by firing and shelling. The firing continued intermittently till 12 am, during which 12 deaths were confirmed on Tuesday and 22 on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those killed in Rawalakot on Tuesday: Osama Jamil (Mang, Sidhanuti), Roman Mahmood (Beirut Pachiot), Abrar Hasrat (Horna Meera), Sardar Shahbaz (Tahlian, Sidhanuti), Qari Abdul Basit (Nad Kothian, Thorad), Javed Yasin (Mang, Sidhanuti), Shaukat Hayat (Matiya Meera), Abdul Razzaq son of Ishaq (Dhengra, Mang), Rizwan Aslam (Mang, Sidhanuti), Muhammad Aziz Khan (Rawalakot), Shahbaz Mushtaq (Khadak), Hussam Banaras (Dreek, Rawalakot).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those killed in Mirpur (Bin Khurman) on Tuesday: Raja Tauqir Alam (Bin Khurman, Mirpur) and Imam of Masjid Inayatullah (resident of Kharian, Jhelum).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those killed in Rawalakot on Monday were: Usman Nazir (brother of Omar Nazir Kashmiri), Naeem Butt (resident of Kotli), Nisar Shaheen (Pakhonad, Baloch), Kashif Yaqoob (Rawalakot), Sardar Fida Hussain (Gardala Tararkhil), Muzammil Ishaq (Ali Sojal), Basit Shah (Hijra), Faheem Afzal (Chhota Gula), Kamran Mushtaq (Hijra), Zargham Khalil (Dreek), Saqib Hanif (Redh Ban), Saqib Ishaq (Namb Guwara, Palandri), Ariel Asghar (Tatta Pani), Usman Gul (Dreek Dhok), Juffair Pehlwan (Pappey Naar, Tararkhil), Ali Hussain (Khari Sharif), Khwaja Abrar Latif Dar (Khursheed Abad, Haveli), Kamran Hafeez (Kahuta, Haveli), Sohail Maqbool (Bai Bheek), Tabish Qayyum (Chhota Gula) and Farrukh Aziz (Inari, Rawalakot).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bodies of the deceased youth reached their native areas on Tuesday, where they were buried after the funeral prayers, while there were reports of difficulties in reaching some of the bodies to their heirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condition of the injured and the situation in hospitals<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over two days, more than 100 people have been injured in Rawalakot and other areas, of which more than 50 were injured on Tuesday. The injured who were shifted to the hospital include Munir son of Rashid, Wajid Arif, Haider Zia son of Amjad, Rawal Zarin, Najeeb son of Razaq, Abdul Afzal son of Afzal, Ijaz son of Sawal, Taimur Parvez, Amjad Shabbir, Afzal Makhan, Taimur Fazal, Abdul Razzaq, Munib, Afzal, Aqib Talib and Muhammad Farooq Khan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protests and clashes in Neelum and Kotli<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, march participants from Neelum Valley also tried to move towards Muzaffarabad, but were stopped by forces. Several people were injured due to firing and shelling there, while according to local sources, Joint Public Action Committee core member Khawaja Mujtaba Bande was also injured by bullets. In addition, strong protests were also held in Kotli\u2019s Khoi Ratta and Chadroi tehsils and the Rawalakot crackdown was condemned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan stopped at Azad Pattan<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pakistan Rights Movement leader and former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan was going to Rawalakot from Islamabad along with a few colleagues, but the police stopped him by setting up a roadblock at \u2018Azad Pattan\u2019 at the entrance of Poonch and did not allow him to enter the boundaries of Pakistani-administered Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mirpur Division Election: Dispute between PML-N and PPP<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, political tension has reached its peak after the elections held under the shadow of curfew and state repression in Mirpur division, where the PML-N and PPP are face to face. The Election Commission and the PML-N claim that the turnout was over 50 percent and that the PML-N won 9 out of 13 seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the PPP has rejected these results, claiming that the turnout was less than 25 percent and that the PML-N was declared the winner through fake votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
