Muzaffarabad \/ Kashgil News<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Pakistan\u2011administered Jammu and Kashmir, nationalist and pro\u2011independence groups organized various events and rallies to mark the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Maqbool Bhat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants paid tribute to Maqbool Bhat and raised slogans in support of the freedom and sovereignty of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In district Poonch, a rally was taken out from the District Poonch College Ground under the banner of the pro\u2011independence alliance, which marched through different parts of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants carried red flags and paid homage to Maqbool Bhat\u2019s struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, in the capital Muzaffarabad, the pro\u2011independence alliance organized a rally from Azadi Chowk to Upper Adda Lal Chowk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, speakers said that Maqbool Bhat\u2019s struggle symbolizes the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to self\u2011determination, and that carrying forward his ideology is the need of the hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the jointly organized programs of the pro\u2011independence alliance, discussions were also held on future strategy and a roadmap for freeing Jammu and Kashmir from Indian and Pakistani control and establishing an independent state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth mentioning that the pro\u2011independence alliance has been organizing joint events on Maqbool Bhat\u2019s martyrdom anniversary for the past two years, while the month of February is observed as \u201cMaah\u2011e\u2011Maqbool\u201d (Month of Maqbool) in Pakistan\u2011administered Kashmir, during which various events and activities are held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should also be noted that Maqbool Bhat was neither a supporter of Pakistan\u2011administered Kashmir nor Indian\u2011administered Kashmir. His vision was a fully independent, sovereign, and united Kashmir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
