The tragedy of the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is not only that a conscious and awake young generation is being targeted, but the tragedy is even greater that those who are considered to be the trusted people of this society are not just silent spectators but have become the hands and feet of this system of oppression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An attempt is being made to eliminate an entire generation of young people full of consciousness, thought and questions. If the process of silencing the voices of the youth here through force, crushing their rights movement and handing over their future to fear is going on from across the Jhelum, then every character involved in this oppression is guilty of history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This problem is not just of a few youth, but of the survival of this generation that is standing on the streets for its fundamental rights today and which has to take over the reins of this region tomorrow. The sad thing is that their legitimate questions are being answered with bullets, violence and fear instead of arguments and dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest question is with those so-called credible people who, instead of supporting the truth, have joined the ranks of the powerful. History is a witness that when the dreams, hopes and morale of a generation are being crushed, then those who stand by the side of the oppressor instead of the oppressed, have no value in any position, rank or social status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities and the houses of power should remember that violence can silence bodies, but the awakened consciousness can never be buried. The blood shed today will not just disappear as an incident, but it has been recorded on the chest of history as a living question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And history will definitely ask tomorrow that when a diverse and conscious generation of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was fighting for its future, who was with them and who was standing in the ranks of the killers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
