In response to this demand for rights, a complete blockade has been imposed across the state. Despite the shutdown of the internet, severe shortage of food and medicines, crackdowns and shutter-downs, central sit-ins are being held in various areas including Rawalakot.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">During this public movement, hundreds of citizens have been killed, hundreds injured due to direct firing by Pakistani forces, and countless people have been forcibly disappeared or arrested and imprisoned in various jails, where their families are not even allowed to meet them.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Kashgil News is presenting the true stories of these unarmed civilians and their grieving families who were victims of violent acts, in the form of a video and written series. Kashgil News<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khawaja Zargham, 22, from Drek area of \u200b\u200bRawalakot city in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, was a student of International Relations at Jamia Poonch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khawaja Zargham was killed during the July 27 long march of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee, which was banned by the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zargham\u2019s mother says that her son was the youngest of the brothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She says that that day she went to the medical camp set up in Drek to visit the injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to her, when she returned home, announcements started that houses that had white sheets or bandages should be delivered to the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was returning to the camp with the sheets and bandages when two children told her on the way that Zargham had been martyred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On hearing this news, she fainted on the way and was taken home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zargham\u2019s body was brought home at Maghrib time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite her son&#8217;s death, Zargham&#8217;s mother says she is proud of her son&#8217;s martyrdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She says Zargham often told her:<br>&#8220;Mama, pray that I may be blessed with martyrdom, and you should celebrate my anniversary every year.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Zargham&#8217;s brother, Khawaja Hassan Ali, Zargham was very fond of cars and working on cars was also his hobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a mother, the separation from her youngest son may never end, but for Zargham&#8217;s mother, his memory now lives on in her wishes, her words, and her last signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">***<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Khawaja Zargham, 22, from Drek area of \u200b\u200bRawalakot city in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, was a student of International Relations at Jamia Poonch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2679,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_themeisle_gutenberg_block_has_review":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[24],"tags":[425,136,40,55,102,385,424,34,46,37],"class_list":["post-2678","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-analysis","tag-ajk","tag-farhan-tariq","tag-government-of-pakistan","tag-government-of-pok","tag-jkjaac","tag-kashmiri-genocide","tag-kashmiri-martyrs","tag-pakistan","tag-pakistan-army","tag-pok"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v28.4) -
