Furthermore, the promised \u2018green electric bus service\u2019 has failed to materialize on the roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Employment, Poverty, and Inflation<\/mark><\/strong><br>Approximately half of the region\u2019s population lives in poverty. Through the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), millions of families are forced to rely on financial assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the general public is crushed under the burden of inflation; yet, government-subsidized wheat\u2014intended for ordinary citizens\u2014is instead distributed among the President, ministers, assembly members, and the bureaucracy. This practice has also given rise to corruption scandals involving billions of rupees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Kashmir Cause and Specialized Institutions<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The final section of the report criticizes institutions established in the name of the &#8220;Kashmir Cause&#8221;\u2014such as the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell and the Kashmir Policy Research Institute.
