According to sources, the situation at the Azad Pattan border\u2014where Pakistani forces previously permitted small vehicles to pass every four to five hours\u2014has now become extremely tense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Security forces are keeping vehicles completely halted throughout the day, opening the route for only one hour around sunset before closing it entirely once again. This has resulted in long queues of vehicles and passengers forming on both sides of the border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Azad Pattan, personnel from the Frontier Corps (FC) have established a strict checkpoint, denying passage to all civilians. In light of this, public representatives have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and to seek alternative routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, reports from Tain Dhalkot indicate that security forces have completely blocked the roads by dumping earth onto them. The forces are currently stationed within the local Shifa Hotel and school buildings.
