A total of 14 workers working with construction companies have been kidnapped by unknown armed men in the Barkhan and Khuzdar districts of Pakistan-occupied Balochistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first incident took place in Dhola River near Aishani area of \u200b\u200bBarkhan district, where armed men forcibly took away three workers working at a crushing plant. According to police sources, the kidnapped workers belong to Musakhel district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are also reports that armed men attacked a police check post in the same area and snatched weapons from three personnel, but this has not been officially confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second incident took place in Mullah area of \u200b\u200bKhuzdar district, where 11 workers working with a construction company were kidnapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Khuzdar police official Yousuf Baloch, the motives for the incident are not yet known, but an investigation has been launched. A senior police officer said that six of the abducted labourers belonged to Sindh and were engaged in the work of paving drains under a World Bank project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
